- Coconut Derivatives
Indonesia is known as the best coconut producer in the world. So it is appropriate if you are currently looking for the best coconut commodity products. Because here we provide what you want. The best coconut products from Indonesian farmers for a better world.
White Copra
Copra is the dried flesh of coconuts. Every adult coconut tree bears 50-75 nuts that can be harvested, split with machetes and left to dry in the sun. The copra is then scraped out of the husk and gets to dry further on racks. Finally, it is packed in jute bags and transported to a processing facility. Indonesia is the largest coconut grower in the world and is continually harvested throughout the year and our copra has the best quality and has gone through several stages of selection.
Coco Fibre
Coconut fiber is obtained from the fibrous husk (mesocarp) of the coconut (Cocos nucifera) from the coconut palm. Coconut fiber is the only fruit fiber usable in the textile industry. Coir is obtained by retting for up to 10 months in water followed by sun-drying. Once dry, the fiber is graded into “bristle” fiber (combed, approx. 20 – 40 cm long) and “mattress” fiber (random fibers, approx. 2 – 10 cm long). The best grade fibers are light in color, gold-yellow (fiber from not yet completely ripened nuts) or brown (fiber from ripe nuts). Coconut fiber is used to produce hawsers, ropes, cords, runners, mats, brooms, brushes, paint brushes and as stuffing for mattresses and upholstered furniture.
Cocopeat
Cocopeat is a multi purpose growing medium made out of coconut husk. The fibrous coconut husk is pre washed, machine dried, sieved and made free from sand and other contaminations such as animal and plant residue. Cocopeat is a very good alternative to traditional peat moss and Rock wool. Its air filled porosity and high water holding capacity makes it, an ideal growing medium for the plant crops. It is 100% organic and eco friendly, free from soil borne pathogen and weed.
Virgin Coconut Oil
Virgin coconut oil is the oil extracted from coconuts without the application of heat. It is rapidly gaining popularity throughout the world in comparison to ordinary coconut oil and for a good reason. There is, in fact, a substance called virgin coconut oil and it differs from regular coconut oil in significant ways. These differences mainly lie with the source (more specifically, the physical form of the source), the method of extraction, and its subsequent benefits.
- Palm Derivatives
We are a fully-integrated agro-industrial entity with palm plantations, palm oil mill, palm kernel crushing plant, and manufacturing plant. We serve as a trader of crude palm oil and palm kernel oil by producing our own seeds, planting, managing, and processing and refining palm oil.
Crude Palm Kernel Oil
Crude Palm Kernel Oil (CPKO) is a light yellow crude oil, extracted from the palm kernels, containing mainly lauric acid. It is an edible plant oil which derived from the kernel of the oil palm. It is commonly used in commercial cooking because of its relatively low cost, and because it remains stable at high cooking temperatures and can be stored longer than other vegetable oils. Palm kernel oil, coconut oil and palm oil are three of the few highly saturated vegetable fats. Its lack of cholesterol and trans fatty acids, viewed as being heart-healthy attributes.
Crude Palm Oil
Crude palm oil, extracted from palm kernels, retains a red hue due to its high inactive vitamin A content. The production process involves sterilizing the fruit with hot steam, removing branches, crushing and heating the fruit into pulp, and ultimately extracting crude palm oil using a hydraulic press. Crude palm oil can be used in various ways, including a variety of non-food processing. It is found in common daily products such as candles, soaps, cosmetics, rubber products and industrial lubricants. Due to long growing season, crude palm oil is the most sustainable oil compare to other vegetable oils. As production continues to increase, it is likely that more industries will turn to crude palm oil in their manufacturing processes.
Palm Kernel
The palm kernel is the edible seed of the oil palm fruit. The fruit yields two distinct oils: palm oil derived from the outer parts of the fruit, and palm kernel oil derived from the kernel. Palm kernel oil is packed with myristic and lauric fatty acids and therefore suitable for the manufacture of soaps, washing powders and personal care products. The pulp left after oil is rendered from the kernel is formed into palm kernel expeller, used either as high-protein feed for dairy cattle or burned in boilers to generate electricity for palm oil mills and surrounding villages.
Palm Kernel Shell
Palm kernel shell is a by-product in the production of palm oil and is commonly used in the natural biomass energy industry. Palm kernel shells (or PKS) are the shell fractions left after the nut has been removed after crushing in the Palm Oil mill. It is a fibrous material, brownish-yellow in colour and can be easily handled in bulk directly from the product line to the end use. Due to its high calorific value, averaging 4000 Kcal/kg, and low ash content, it is considered an attractive source of fuel in the production of energy from renewable sources.
Palm Kernel Expeller
Palm Kernel Expeller (PKE) is a by-product of the crushing and expelling of oil from Palm Kernel. PKE is largely known as a quality stock feed containing high levels of crude protein and medium energy levels. It is completely safe to feed as a supplement for most classes of livestock.
